Recharging the Power Solution Wi-Fi Router & Charger The charger has already been partially charged and is ready for use directly after purchase. From time to time, your portable device may completely consume the charger’s power. When there is no LED power, the charger needs to be recharged. Please recharge it before you use it again. 1. Connect part (micro-USB jack) to part (micro-USB port). 2. Connect part (USB jack) to a USB port with a power supply (i.e. AC adaptor with USB power supply). 3. Do not disconnect the charger before the charging cycle is completed. 4. A white LED light will _ash on the charger to indicate the charging process. The LED changes from rolling to solid white when the charger is fully charged. B. Recharging your Portable Devices When your portable devices are running out of battery power, you can recharge them with the charger anytime, anywhere without AC power supply. Note: To prevent overheating, this charger is equipped with built-in safety control, protecting it from over-heating while charging your device. If it becomes too hot, it will temporarily shut down. The charger will restart after it has cooled down. 1. Connect part ➋ (USB jack) directly to part ➌ (USB port) of the charger. 2. Connect part ➊ (micro-USB jack) into the portable device you wish to charge. 3. Press part ➎ ("CHECK/START” button) of the charger to start charging. 4. When no LED lights show up, the device is out of power. If you would like to use the charger again, please recharge it by following the steps in part A. C. 'LifetronsAir' Software/App Installation and Pairing To fully use the Wi-Fi router function and data sharing features you need to install the free 'LifetronsAir' software or app on your computer or mobile device. Download the “LifetronsAir” software for Mac® or PC from the official Lifetrons website (www.lifetrons.com). Download the "LifetronsAir" app from the Mac® App Store for Apple® devices or from Google Play for Android™ devices. 1. Hold the check/start button ➎ on the charger for 3 seconds to start the Wi-Fi pairing process. The charger will search for a connecting device and the LED indicator will quickly flash the color white. 2. Your portable device or computer will prompt you to select the paired component. Select “LifetronsFG-1060N-XXXX” from the list of Wi-Fi enabled devices shown on your connecting device. (“XXXX” is the last four numbers of the MAC address.) 3. If prompted for an input passkey, use "12345678". That is the default passkey for this charger. Click “OK” to complete the pairing process. 4. Once pairing is successfully completed there will be a Wi-Fi icon shown on your portable device or computer and the LED indicator of the charger will remain the color white. D. Data Sharing Between Portable Devices/Computers and a Portable Hard-disk or USB Flash Drive 1. Connect any USB flash drive or portable hard-disk to the charger's USB port ➌. The wireless symbol will become the color blue to indicate USB connection. 2. Follow the steps in part C to pair your portable device or computer with the charger's Wi-Fi. 3. You can now use the "LifetronsAir" software or app to download, upload or directly read your photos, music, documents and movies from the USB flash drive/portable hard-disk to your portable device or computer. 4. If your computer prompts you for a passkey when you are trying to login to the "LifetronsAir" software, use "admin" for the username and click "Log in". This is a default setting which can be amended within the software. Note: Once you have downloaded the data from the flash drive or portable hard-disk, you can delete the data to clear the memory.
