Operational Description

FCC ID: NF260827 Circuit Description The 27.145MHz crystal oscillator drives the base of Q2 the final/buffer amplifier. The modulation provided by Mic. The output of Q2 has the matching network consisting of L3 and C7 that limit the harmonic content and effect the proper coupling of the antenna to the output stage. Antenna, Ground and Power Source The antenna consists of a 19.5cm long metal wire. There is no external ground connection. The ground is only that of the printed circuit board. Electric current is supplied by a 9 Volt (“6F22” size battery x 1) primary battery

FCC ID: NF260827 Duty Cycle Correction During 100msec: Each function key sends a different series of characters, but each packet period (32.5 never exceeds a series of 6 long (1.5msec) and 10 short (500ìsec) pulses. Assuming any conbination of short and long pulses may be obtined due encoding the worse case transmit duty cycle would be considered 6x1.5msec+10x500ìsec per 32.5msec = 37.8% duty cycle. Figure A through C show the 43% characterestics of the pulses train for one of these function. Duty Cycle Correction = 20 log (0.43) = -7.3dB.
