To: Lee Wing Yan ITS/ES-HKG Cc: Robert F. Martin ITS/ES-Box Subject: RE: FCC ID: O3U630174TX Dear Yan: Thank you for this application for a Part 15 107.7 MHz FM band transmitter. Administrative review is complete, and the following are noted: 1) The Operational description is missing. Please provide. 2) The Test report shows the fundamental 15 dB below the applicable limit. That is very low. does this device actually work? 3) The Bandwidth plot shows the marker on the fundamental peak at 107.9 MHz. This is different from the Test report data table (107.568 MHz). Neither is at the Form 731 frequency of 107.7 MHz. Can these differences be explained? This is important because the fundamental is very close to the upper limit of 108 MHz, above which there can be NO emissions. Accordingly, please provide: a) a description of how the emission frequency is set (there is no crystal); b) a bandwidth plot clearly showing that the emission bandwidth is 200 kHz or less, and showing that there are no emissions above 108 MHz. Operational Description

Product Description The equipment under test (EUT) is a transmitter a Wireless Audio operating at 107.8 MHz which is controlled by a crystal. The EUT is powered by four 1.5V AA batteries. There is a ON/OFF switch on the EUT. Once turn on the EUT and input a audio signal into the EUT. It can transmit a RF signal out . The brief circuit description is listed as follows : -Q2 and associated circuit act as Audio Amplifier -Q1 and associated circuit act as RF Amplifier -C9, L5 and associated circuit act as Local Oscillator.

Frequency Alignment Procedure of #630174 Real Shuttle Commander 1.Transmitter a)Connect the transmitter unit to the DC power supply (+6VDC); b)Use the Spectrum Analyzer to monitor the frequency; c)Adjust the coil L5 on the PCB unit the frequency reading on the Spectrum Analyzer is 107.7MHz +/-0.05MHz; d)Use the wax to seal and fix the coil L5. 2.Receiver a)Connect the receiver unit to the DC power supply (+4.5VDC); b)Use the Sweep Generator to generate a RF signal of 107.7MHz, and connect the speaker output of the receiver unit to the input of the Sweep Generator, there will be a β€œS” curve display on the Sweep Generator c)Adjust the coil L1 to align the center point of the β€œS” curve on the Sweep Generator to the frequency point of 107.7MHz +/- 0.1MHz; d)Use the wax to seal and fix the coil L1.
