03/21/02 Mr. Dan Baltzell Rheintech In reference to FCC ID: 06YUTS-600FSU Mr.Baltzell Upon completion of preliminary review of the application for FCC ID: LX8766E, there are several issues that must be addressed before the application can be granted by ATCB. Please address each issue below. 1) Please provide a corrected 731form with the correct operating frequency listed. Corrected 2) Page one of the test report states the operation frequency is 1896.65 – 1909.95, however the test data indicates the system operate between 1893.65 – 1909.95 MHz, please explain difference. Incorrect report filed, corrections made. 3) The manual states that there are three antennas available, including a patch antenna with a maximum gain of 14dBi. The MPE calculations however were only done with the 10dBi gain antenna. Please provide RF Exposure data for all the available antennas RF exposure added for a 2 dBi antenna, 14 dBi antenna not used. 4) The RF Exposure calculations were done based on duty cycle of 12.8%, this will be reflected in the grant notes that the maximum duty cycle allowed will be 12.8%. Noted. 5) Please provide information on how the manufacturer will limit the duty cycle of this system to 12.8% maximum if the system can operate at greater then 12.8% duty cycle or provide MPE study with the transmitter operating at the maximum duty cycle allowed or 100% if such operation is possible. Firmware control, additional data submitted with 100% operation. 6) There is no data in the test report that supports the 14dBi patch antenna listed in the manual, please provide a set of data with this antenna. Deleted from users manual as well as correction to 10nW to 10mW power on last page.
