Operation is subject to the following two conditions: This device may not cause harmful interference. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy. If this equipment is not installed and used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, it may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by during the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. The use of shielded cables for connection of the monitor to the graphics card is required to assure compliance with FCC regulations. Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate this equipment. This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance 20cm between the radiator and your body. This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. FCC RF Radiation Exposure Statement: This equipment complies with FCC RF radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20 centimetres between the radiator and your body. This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. Operational Description

FCC ID: O7J-GL242204-0T ADT No.910416R01 Operational Description The transmitter of the EUT is seeking for Limited Module Approval specific to the host equipment such as Access Point and Wireless Router. The antenna type is Dipole antenna with two different connectors including internal and external. Under normal use condition, the user has to keep at least 20cm separation distance between radiator and the body of the user. The other instruction, please have a look at the users manual. DSSS Information This device is Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum, the data is mixed by pseudorandom code which is an orthogonal code. The mixed data is digital modulated by BPSK and QPSK technique depends on the data rates. The CCK coding is applied for increasing the data rate, and also the processing gain will be increased. The bit rates are 1,2,5.5,11,22Mbps, the symbol rates are 1,1,1.375,1.375,1.375 Mbps, the chip rates are always 11Mbps. So, the Chip/symbol is 11,11,8,8,and16 respectively. Although is higher bit rate, the processing gain is lower than 10, but the CCK coding used in higher bit rate will provide 2.2dB coding gain.

FCC ID: O7J-GL242204-0T ADT No.: 910416R01 FCC TEST REPORT REPORT NO.: RF910416R01 MODEL NO.: GL242204-0T ACCORDING: FCC Guidelines for Human Exposure IEEE C95.1 APPLICANT:GLOBAL SUN TECHNOLOGY, INC. ADDRESS: No.13, Tung Yuan Rd., Jung Li Industrial Park, Jung Li City, Tao Yuan Hsien, Taiwan, R.O.C. ISSUED BY:Advance Data Technology Corporation LAB LOCATION:47 14th Lin, Chiapau Tsun, Linko, Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. 0528 ILAC MRA Lab Code: 200102-0 FCC ID: O7J-GL242204-0T ADT No.: 910416R01 RF Exposure Measurement (Mobile Device) 1. Introduction 2.4 GHz frequency band is regarded specially as a dangerous band for its heating harmfulness to the human body. Thatโ€™s why microwave oven is operating in this frequency band. The manufacturer whose product is working in this frequency band is obligatory to prove the harmfulness of his product. In this document, we try to prove the safety of radiation harmfulness to the human body for our product. The limit for Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) specified in FCC 1.1310 is followed. The Gain of the antenna used in this product is measured in a Fully Anechoic Chamber (FAC), and the maximum total power input to the antenna is measured. Through the Friis transmission formula and the maximum gain of the antenna, we can calculate the distance, away from the product, where the limit of MPE is reached. 2. RF Exposure Limit According to FCC 1.1310: The criteria listed in the following table shall be used to evaluate the environmental impact of human exposure to radio-frequency (RF) radiation as specified in 1.1307(b). FCC ID: O7J-GL242204-0T ADT No.: 910416R01 LIMITS FOR MAXIMUM PERMISSIBLE EXPOSURE (MPE) Frequency Range (MHz) Electric Field Strength (V/m) Magnetic Field Strength (A/m) Power Density (mW/cm 2 ) Average Time (minutes) (A)Limits For Occupational / Control Exposures 30-30061.40.1631.06 300-1500......F/3006 1500-100,000......56 (B)Limits For General Population / Uncontrolled Exposure 30-30027.50.0730.230 300-1500......F/150030 1500-100,000......1.030 F = Frequency in MHz 3. Friis Formula Friis transmission formula : Pd = (Pout*G) / (4*pi*r 2 ) where Pd = power density in mW/cm 2 Pout = output power to antenna in mW G = gain of antenna in linear scale Pi = 3.1416 R = distance between observation point and center of the radiator in cm Pd is the limit of MPE, 1 mW/cm 2 . If we know the maximum Gain of the antenna and the total power input to the antenna, through the calculation, we will know the distance r where the MPE limit is reached. Ref. : David K. Cheng, Field and Wave Electromagnetics, Second Edition, Page 640, Eq. (11-133). 4. EUT Operating condition The software provided by Manufacturer enabled the EUT to transmit and receive data at lowest, middle and highest channel individually. FCC ID: O7J-GL242204-0T ADT No.: 910416R01 5. Test Results 5.1 Antenna Gain The maximum Gain measured in Fully Anechoic Chamber is 2.5 dBi or 1.58 (numeric). 5.2 Output Power Into Antenna & RF Exposure Distance : CHANNEL CHANNEL FREQUENCY (MHz) OUTPUT POWER TO ANTENNA (mW) MINIMUM ALLOWABLE DISTANCE ( r ) FROM SKIN (Centi-Meter) 1241230.341.95 6243729.851.94 11246229.791.94 The minimum allowable distance is very close to the enclosure of the antenna. So, the user has no need to worry about the harmfulness of radiation. But it is recommended to always keep, at least, 20cm separation distance with the antenna.
