A consistent flicker indicates a strong signal Solid LED Flashing LED P2 LED Controller 2 has connectivity Controller 2 has no connectivity P1 LED Controller 1 has connectivity Controller 1has no connectivity P2 LED P1 LED Signal LED WaveStation Docking Unit Layout P1 / P2 LED have a simple function. They flash when there are no peripherals plugged in or when the peripheral in not recognized. They remain ON when a recognized peripheral is plugged into controller port 1 or 2. The Signal LED indicates valid received rumble data from the Game Console to the Docking Unit. A solid LED indicates valid rumble data received from the game console. If the LED flashes quickly, it indicates that rumble data did not make it to the controller. This is not serious as rumble data is updated many times per second. If the LED remains OFF for a long period of time then rumble update is being reduced. This could be due to range limitations or RF noise on the channel being used. NOTE: Leave these settings set to the factory settings unless you are experiencing signal interference. There is a channel selector on the bottom of the Receiving Unit and inside the battery compartment of the Docking Unit. If the channels are changed they must be the same on both units.
