To recode the system, consult the user manual of the receiver coupled with the transmitter. CRADLE INSTALLATION The cradle (battery charger interface) has to be installed less to 1 meter far from the vehicle cigarette lighter socket. Since it is provided with a standard vehicular battery charger with 1m cord. To power the cralde: - insert the battery charger in the cigarette lighter socket - plug the battery charger micro-USB output connector into the cradle micro-USB socket The cradle can be powered with any standard vehicular battery charger with mirco-USB output connector. BATTERY MANAGEMENT AND RECHARGE The remote control is equipped with a single cell Li-Po battery which can be recharged without the need to remove it from the device. During the use of the remote control, an icon on the display indicates the status of the battery through four segments. The charge process start automatically once the remote control is placed in its cralde, the battery icon, together with the red led indicate that the charge is in progress. Once the charge is complete the battery icon indicates the complete full battery status and all the four segments of the battery icon are lighted. Figura 1. Palmare in carica SISTEMATICA S.p.A. July 2, 2012 RE: ATCB012225 –Original Equipment Certification Application FCC ID: O8IRTXTRENDLCD for Sistematica S.p.A. You can find our answers after your comments. Thank you. Francesco Barbieri 2. The submitted user manuals appear to be incomplete because they both contain no information on how to operate this transmitter. Please address. (Please note that this is a repeat of question 12 from my request for additional information dated June 5, 2012.) IMQ: The reason of the absence of the specific part “functional description” is due to the customizable approach of this application; the firmware loaded in the device is the result of agreement between the customer and his client. The firmware is built in order to assign particular mean to each button command, but don’t change radio details . In this way, the manual is personalized for each application.

Its main features are: • Power supply: single cell LiPO battery 3,7Vdc, 1200mAh • Current consumption: < 20 uA in stand-by status • Double keyboard layout available, up to 8 function key or 4 button joy-pad other than 4 standard round function key • Graphic display 128x128 pixel COG-FSTN with blue backlight • Backlighted keyboard • Passive Safety-Point • Active Safety-Point (RFID integrated Tag-Reader) • Tilting Hand capability through 3 axis accelerometer • Emergency STOP mushroom • Buzzer or vibration as user feedback other than display • Operating distance: up to 150 m in line of sight and free field conditions • Operating temperature: -20 ÷ +70 °C • Enclosure protection: IP65 • Operating frequency: 915 - 918 MHz • Type of communication: bidirectional half-duplex • RF Chipset: NORDIC nRF905 Transceiver RTX TREND-LCD Operational Description Date: 2012-06-22 R3 Pagina 2 di 2 2. Operational description The RTX TREND-LCD remote control is used in conjunction with Sistematica S.p.A CONTROLLER devices that acts the command sent by the user with the RTX TREND-LCD. Each RTX TREND-LCD is produced with a unique 32 bit identification number lasered into the device memory. This number allow a pairing function between the remote control and the receiver which will accept commands only from the paired remote control. The integrity of the transmitted commands is achieved through e 32 bit polynomial CRC. Feedback of the right transmission and reception of the command is given to the user through specific icons on the display. The LCD give the possibility to the user to receive information from the CONTROLLER about the status of the machinery on which it is installed. The basic information given to the user through the display are: • Status of the battery • Radio link established or not. The RTX TREND-LCD function menu, the usage operation, the LCD layout and the information displayed on it are defined time to time by customer demand.
