The circuit of the transmitter comprises of, 1. An Encoding circuit Consisting: S1, S2, S3, S4, U1 2. A RF Oscillator (27.145MHz) Consisting: Y1 3. A Filter Network Consisting: L3, C3, C7, C8 4. A RF Modulator and Amplifier Consisting: 3904, 945 5. A Power Supply Consisting: 9VDC (1 X “9V” battery) Antenna Gain: 0dBi Nominal rated field strength: 66.0dBμV/m at 3m Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance: +/- 3dB The transmitter uses an external and integral antenna.
Analysis Report Report No.: 14020670HKG-001 The Equipment Under Test (EUT) is a portable transmitter of a RC Car operating at 27.145 MHz as dictated by a crystal. The EUT is powered by a 9.0 V DC source (1 x 9.0V battery). The EUT has a left joystick to make the left wheel move forward and reverse and a right joystick to make the right wheel move forward and reverse. After switching ON the EUT and the receiver of the RC Car, activating the joystick on the EUT can control the receiver moving forward, backward, left and right directions. Antenna Type: External integral antenna Antenna Gain: 0dBi Nominal rated field strength: 66dBμV/m at 3m Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance: +/- 3dB According to the KDB 447498: Based on the Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance was 69dBμV/m at 3m in frequency 27.145MHz, thus; The EIRP = [(FS*D) ^2*1000 / 30] = 0.00238mW Conducted power = Radiated Power (EIRP) – Antenna Gain So; Conducted Power = 0.00238mW. The SAR Exclusion Threshold Level for 27.145MHz when the minimum test separation distance is < 50mm: = [474 * (1 + log100/f(MHz))]/2 = 371.2mW Since the above conducted output power is well below the SAR Exclusion threshold level, so the EUT is considered to comply with SAR requirement without testing.
