July 29, 2002 Federal Communications Commission Equipment Approval Services 7435 Oakland Mills Road Columbia, MD 21046 Attn: Mr. Stan Lyles SUBJECT: SK Teletech Company Limited FCC ID: OL6SK-5000 731 Confirmation No.: EA850726 Correspondence Reference No.: 23307 Request for Tech. Info.: 7/5/02 Dear Stan: Transmitted herewith, on behalf of SK Teletech Company Limited is an amendment provided in response to the request for technical information dated July 5, 2002. 1. Please find attached the appropriate RF safety statement. 2. Please find attached the additional SAR test data with the SLIM battery. 3. We used the IEEE Std. 1528 procedure to perform the validation using 250mW. The input power to the dipole was 250mW so one needs to divide the “One Watt” target number by four to normalize it. The target value in IEEE 9.5/4 P1528 is 9.5 W/Kg. We applied .25W during the validation process so the target value is 9.5W/kg/4 = 2.375.The result of the validation was + 4.0 percent. 4. Please find attached the Data comparison between Speag probe calibration and PCTEST probe calibration. Please note that this application refers to sample number 2. We trust this information is sufficient to resolve FCC questions in this application. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. cc: SK Teletech Company Limited

This calibration was limited to 835MHz and 1900 MHz. The conversion factors obtained were the same as those obtained from the original probe calibration performed by Speag using the probe calibration technique is detailed in P1528. This technique has been described in the literature for several years. The probe calibration conversion factors obtained by PCTEST, correlate well with the calibration data provided by the probe manufacturer Speag. Based on this correlation, we believe that all the data obtained by the system with the PCTEST provided probe calibrations are valid and accurate. Currently a new probe SN: 1677, that was on back order for quite some time, calibrated by Speag on April 10, 2002, has been received. PCTEST currently plans to use this probe on an ongoing basis for filings tested with the Speag SAR measurement system. Per your request, listed below are the applications filed in which PCTEST provided the probe calibration conversion factors for probe S/N: 1560. This includes granted and pending applications. Also attached is the new calibration document for S/N: 1677 for your reference. PCTEST is requesting that the Commission to not make this letter available to the public. If this information or any portion thereof needs to be placed in the public record for any of the listed filings, PCTEST will provide a separate document listing only the specific FCC ID for which it is needed. For more information about RF exposure, please visit the FCC website at www.fcc.gov FCC RF EXPOSURE INFORMATION In August 1996 the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States with its action in Report and Order FCC 96-326 adopted an updated safety standard for human exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic energy emitted by FCC regulated transmitters. Those guidelines are consistent with the safety standard previously set by both U.S. and international standards bodies. The design of this phone complies with the FCC guidelines and these international standards. Use only the supplied or an approved antenna. Unauthorized antennas, modifications, or attachments could impair call quality, damage the phone, or result in violation of FCC regulations. Do not use the phone with a damaged antenna. If a damaged antenna comes into contact with the skin, a minor burn may result. Please contact your local dealer for replacement antenna. Body-worn Operation This device was tested for typical body-worn operations with the back of the phone kept 1.5 cm. from the body. To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use only belt-clips, holsters or similar accessories that maintain a 1.5 cm. separation distance between the user’s body and the back of the phone, including the antenna, whether extended or retracted. The use of belt-clips, holsters and similar accessories should not contain metallic components in its assembly. The use of accessories that do not satisfy these requirements may not comply with FCC RF exposure requirements, and should be avoided. WARNING! Read this information be…
