Page 1/1 Reinhold Gantner 24.1.2001 Operational Description ID2 The ID2 Tag is a high performance active RFID tag suitable for a wide variety of applications. The tag response to an activation telegram from the Interrogator by transmitting its unique identification number. The Tag is available in two different housings: Personnel and Industrial. The Tag has a low current ASK receiver in the UHF band for a data rate up to 38.4 K bits per second. The PLL stabilised ASK transmitter has a data rate up to 115.2 K bits per second. The operation range is 6 meter ( 20 feet ) with a typical operation life of 6 years.
