Portable Beacon System Normal Usage 1. Install the Light Posts along the desired route using the Hook & Loop Tape provided. 2. The maximum distance between each Light Post is approximately 300 feet(90 meters), based on an unobstructed view. Recommended to posting higher up on the tree trunk. 3. Remember to switch the Light Posts on before setting to desire positions. 4. Press the“On” button on key Fob, the Light Posts in range will light up 5. Light Posts will remain on for 10 minutes once activated without further FOB control input 6. Light Posts can be turned off manually at any time with the“Off” button on Key Fob and remain ready for signal receiving. 7. The “PULSE” button located on the Key FOB will transmit the signal every 1 minute for 40 minutes and then turn off. 8. After 40 minutes the last signal is sent, Light Posts will remain on for 10 minutes and then turn off light. The “PULSE” button allows a user to walk along the route activating lights without the need to continuously press the “On” button to activate the Light Posts. 9. Light Posts can be turned off manually at any time with “Off” button on Key Fob. Learning Mode While the Light Post is switched on. Function and Responses in the following situations: 1. Press and hold Program Button for 3 seconds on the Light Post then the device will enter the Learning Mode; Indication: the Light Posts will flash 3 times (rapid flashing), and then keep light on for 10 seconds 2. During the 10 seconds the Light Post is on, press the “On” button on the Key Fob while in range of the Light Post and the signal will be recorded a. If the signal is recevied: the Light Post LEDs will flash 3 times b. If no signals are detected in 10 seconds the light Post turns off and is back to normal (ready) status c. Light Post “OFF” Button is pressed The device will be switched off, user has to switch it on again to operate 3.
