FCC ID FOR TR-120: OUVO1GTRF March 9, 2001 Federal Communications Commission OET Laboratory Division 7435 Oakland Mills Rd. Columbia, MD 21046 Re:Request for Confidentiality We request that the enclosed design documents of our TR-120 product (FCC ID# is OUVO1GTRF), specifically our schematics and bill of materials, be held confidential. Extensive research and development efforts have provided us with radio technology that significantly outperforms much of the competition. This new technology gives our company a competitive advantage. Our efforts could be quickly undermined if the design information were to be made public. Thank you in advance, Chris Dulin President, Enrange Corp.
FCC ID LABEL FORMAT AND LOCATION BACK VIEW Model: TR-120 FCC ID:OUV01GTRF This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation of this device is subject to the following conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference which may cause undesired operation.
Transceiver Operation General The TT-120 is a complete transceiver module operating in the 900 Mhz ISM band (904- 926 Mhz). The module has onboard digital and analog I/O allowing multiple configurations for many different applications. The unit can relay information over distances of 300β with a total turn around response time of 25 milli seconds. Each packet of information is coded with multiple security checks ensuring safe, reliable message reception. The unit itself operates in a half duplex mode. Multiple units may be used in the same area without interference. Each unit is configured by dipswitches. The dipswitches allow the user to select multiple application settings. I/O Description (refer to Schematic dwg#98565158) The TT-120 has a total of (18) TTL digital inputs. These inputs are driven by (4) different drivelines (inputs are monitored 50 times/second). The TT-120 also has (4) digital encoder inputs and (1) analog input (for 10K potentiometer). The unit provides a separate dry contact input for an on/off switch. The TT-120 provides (2) LED outputs. An external charger may also be used. A separate connector (J6) is provided for this connection. The TT-120 also provides a hard-wired backup communication option. The umbilical option is powered by 12VDC. The umbilical option is commonly used in areas where RF is not permitted. Power Supply Requirements The unit accepts a DC supply from 5.5 β 12VDC. Total current consumption is approx. 20-25 mA.

The Equipment Under Test (EUT) was the Model:TR-120 Transceiver. The test results reported in this document relate only to the item that was tested. Radio-Noise Emissions tests were performed according to ANSI C63.4-1992 "Methods of Measurement of RFI from Low-Voltage Electronic Equipment in the Range of 9 KHz - 40 GHz". The measuring equipment conforms to ANSI C63.2 Specifications for Electromagnetic Noise and Field Strength Instrumentation. 1.1 Summary: The Enrange Corp., TR-120 Transceiver complies with the FCC limits Part (15.249) Intentional Radiator. Tests were performed on the low, mid and high channels. 1.2 Test Methodology; Both conducted and radiated testing were performed according to the procedures in ANSI C63.4 1992. Radiated testing was performed at an antenna to EUT distance of three (3) meters. 1.3 Test Facility: The open area test site and conducted measurement facility used to collect the radiated data is located on the parking lot of National Certification Laboratory 8370 Court Avenue, Suite B-1, Ellicott City, Maryland 21043. This site has been fully described in a report dated May 26, 1993, submitted to and approved by the Federal Communications Commission to perform AC line conducted and radiated emissions testing.
