The EUT meets the requirements for modular approval as detailed in FCC public Notice DA00-1407. Compliance to each of the requirements is described below: Questions are: 1. βThe modular transmitter must have its own RF shielding.β - The radio portion of the CDMA wireless module has its own RF shielding. The shielding is installed at the factory. 2. βThe modular transmitter must have buffered modulation/data inputs.β - Please see Appendix 1 for schematics of the module. 3. βThe modular transmitter must have its own power supply regulation.β - The EUT has its own AC/DC power adapter. It insures compliance with part 15 supplying the module from the host unit. 4. βThe modular transmitter must comply with the antenna requirements of section 15.203 and 15.204(c).β - The EUT meets the FCC antenna requirements. 5. βThe modular transmitter must be tested in a stand-alone configuration.β - The EUT was tested in a stand-alone configuration. 6. βThe modular transmitter must be labeled with its own FCC ID number.β - The EUT is labeled with its own FCC ID number. 7. βThe modular transmitter must comply with any specific rule or operating requirements applicable to the transmitter and the manufacture must provide adequate instruction along with the module to explain any such requirements.β - The EUT is compliant with all applicable FCC rules. 8. βThe modular transmitter must comply with any applicable RF exposure requirements.β β The EUT fully complies with RF exposure requirements.
