Federal Communications Commission 7435 Oakland Mills Road Columbia, MD 21046 October 3, 2001 Gentlemen: This letter is to clarify that there is no users guide for the NPM Radio and PA components. The NPM is a base station unit targeted for industrial installation. The NPM is not a consumer product and will not be sold as such therefore no user manual is available. Soma Networks will be responsible for all installation personnel who will be trained and certified to be complaint with Soma Networks Installation guidelines. To: <[email protected]> Cc: "Raymond Laforge" <[email protected]> Subject: Re: Part 24 question. If the IF card / module is designed and intended to be used with the final amplifier, then it is to be tested under the Part 24 limits. In other words, because the IF card is part of the system architecture (not a stand alone device) it is to be tested under the Part 24 / PCS limits. >>> Juan Martinez <[email protected]> 10/05/01 07:02PM >>> Mr. Coperich, Attach please find what you requested it is label "IF Card Block Diagram". I have also attach a file called "Amplifier Block Diagram" this will show you how the IF card and the PA interconnect between each other. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
