Before Using 4 Function Description of Each Component POWER LED Lighted when the external power is applied. - When the external power is applied, the L E Dis red. - When the internal power is applied, the LED is green. - If the backup battery is connected, you can use the terminal without the external power supply. S E RVICE LED Indicates status of the backup battery. - LED OFF : Indicates that the service is not available as the receive power intensity is weak. - LED blinking: Indicates that the service available although the receive power intensity is weak. - LED ON : Indicates that the receive power intensity is strong and the service is available. Set the battery switch located at the bottom of the terminal to Off . 2. As shown in the figure below, open the cover on the rear side of the terminal by pushing it along the arrow. 3. After the cover is open, you can see the backup battery and its c o n n e c t o r. As shown in the figure below, grip the connector to let the flat side look downward. Then, push the connector along the arrow to connect it to the circuit board. CHG LED - R E D: indicates that the state is in Ch a r g i n g . DC JACK Feeds power from the SMPS of the FWT terminal. - The AC input of the SMPS ranges 90~270V SERIAL PORT A port for maintenance and data communication of the FWT terminal R J - 11 JACK Used to connect normal phones. - As two jacks are presented, you can concurrently connect two telephones without security assured. - You may connect one telephone to any of the two jacks. - You may connect up to five telephones to RJ-11 jack. Radiation patterns are measured at the lowest, middle and highest frequency for each band (Tx and Rx band). The measurement performed so as to minimize the influence of the cables. The specified force is applied during 30sec to the top of the sleeve parallel to the antenna axis. The set is dropped with antenna downwards onto a steel surface covered with 20 sheets of copy paper . 4. ENVIRONMENTAL RESISTANCE PROPERTIES 4.1 Operational Temperature 4.1.1 Temperature : 40 70 at 50%RH 4.1.2 Demand No visual change and the fitting and mold shall be unchanged mechanically and satisfy the electrical data during the test. The antenna is taken out after 1 hour, and the V.S.W.R is immediately measured. The antenna is kept at +20°C and 50%RH for at least 1 hour. The antenna is placed at high temperature. The antenna is taken out after 1 hour, and the V.S.W.R is immediately measured. 4.2 Temperature Cycling 4.2.1 Cycling Temperature : 40 ~ 80 at 50%RH 4.2.2 Demand No visual change and the fitting and mold shall be unchanged mechanically and satisfy the electrical data after a 1 hour relaxing period at +20 and 50%RH . 4.2.3 Measuring method The antenna is placed in a climatic chamber. The temperature is cycled as follows: The temperature is kept constant at low cycling temperature for 1hour, increased to high cycling temperature during 1 hour, kept constant for 1hour and then decreased to low cycling temperature during 1 hour.
