eContains 1 x 3.7V LiPo battery pack and requires 6 x 1.5 V AA (LR6) alkaline batteries (not included). Batteries or battery packs must be recycled or disposed of properly. When this product has reached the end of its useful life it should not be disposed of with other household waste. The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations require it to be separately collected so that it can be treated using the best available recovery and recycling techniques. This will minimize the impact on the environment and human health from soil and water contamination by any hazardous substances, decrease the resources required to make new products and avoid using up landfill space. Please do your part by keeping this product out of the municipal waste stream! The “wheelie bin” symbol means that it should be collected as “waste electrical and electronic equipment”. The output power of XN297 is set by the RF_PWR bits in the RF_SETUP register. Demodulation is done with embedded data slicer and bit recovery logic. The air data rate can be programmed to 1Mbps or 2Mbps by RF_DR_HIGH and RF_DR_LOW register. A transmitter and a receiver must be programmed with the same setting. In the following chapters, all registers are in register bank 0 except with explicit claim. Analysis Report The Equipment Under Test (EUT) is a portable 2.4GHz Transceiver (Controller Unit) for a RC Plane operating at 2411.2MHz to 2465.2MHz with 1MHz channel spacing. The EUT is powered by 6 X 1.5V AA batteries. After switch on the EUT and paired with helicopter, the Plane can be controlled to fly forward, backward, turning left/right direction and rolling by the controller. Also, the EUT has a charging circuitry, the corresponding receiver can be charged by this controller. Antenna Type: Internal integral antenna Antenna Gain: 4dBi Nominal rated field strength: 94.8dBμV/m at 3m Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance: +/- 3dB According to the KDB 447498: Based on the Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance was 97.8dBμV/m at 3m in frequency 2.4GHz, thus; The EIRP = [(FS*D) ^2*1000 / 30] = 1.808mW Conducted power = Radiated Power (EIRP) – Antenna Gain So; Conducted Power =0.72mW. The SAR Exclusion Threshold Level: = 3.0 * (min. test separation distance, mm) / sqrt(freq. in GHz) = 3.0 * 5 / sqrt (2.4652) mW = 9. 55 mW Since the above conducted output power is well below the SAR Exclusion threshold level, so the EUT is considered to comply with SAR requirement without testing.
