Daviscomms Confidential Daviscomms Organization Chart Pendant FD User Guide Freedom to live life your way How Pendant FD works 1. Press the emergency button of pendant FD. 2. Your information and location are sent to the Emergency Operators. 3. Emergency operators establishes two-ways communication and assesses the situation. 4. Emergency operator contacts a neighbor, family member or emergency services based on specific need. Use Case 1 : EMERGENCY BUTTON press Daviscomms Confidential Daviscomms Organization Chart Pendant FD User Guide Freedom to live life your way Use Case 2 : Fall DetectionWhen you experience a fall in the shower or car par k anywhere you are out of reach of a cell phone, pe ndant FD can send the signal for help in faster. Fall detect with and without cancellation 1. If you experience a fall , pendant FD waits twent y seconds to confirm that the user did not get back up. Pendant FD broadcasts Fall Detect RF signal. If no cancellatio n is received after twenty seconds, pendant FD will establish full alarm. The alarm is sent to Emergency Operators. Em ergency operator will assist based on specific need . 2. If you experience a fall , pendant FD waits twe nty seconds to confirm that the user did not get ba ck up. Pendant FD broadcasts Fall Detect RF signal. If you presses and holds the Pendant for five seconds, the LED wi ll be turn off and the alarm will be cancelled. Federal Communication Commission Interference Statement This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
