Users Manual

Charging steps Note Caution Warning 1. Insert the micro USB plug of the power adapter into the micro USB socket at the rear of the battery or that on the earphone. 2. Plug the AC plug of the power adapter into the 110~220V AC power outlet. 3. Charging starts, and the indicators on the power adapter and on the radio shine red light. 4. When charging is finished, the battery indicator light will turn green. 5. Unplug the AC plug of the power adapter. 1. To fully charge the battery, ensure the ambient temperature is 5 ° C to 40 ° C. 2. Before charging, turn off the radio. 3. Do not disassemble the battery housing. 4. For smooth charging, do not reconnect the power supply or load or remove the battery during charging. 5. If the operation time of the battery is still short after normal charging, please replace the battery. 6. Do not use the battery under a temperature of 60 ° C. 1. Please use the supplied battery, so as to ensure normal operation of the radio. 2. Please use the supplied power adapter so as to ensure normal charging and battery life. 1. Installing the battery To install the battery, aim the battery pack at the battery slot of the radio, and then push it forward. When a "click" is heard, the battery is locked. 2. Removing the battery To remove the battery, turn off the radio, press the battery latch at the bottom of the radio, and draw out the battery backward. 3. Installing the antenna To install the antenna, insert the threaded end of the antenna into the threaded hole on the radio and rotate it clockwise until it is tightened. 4. Removing the antenna To remove the antenna, rotate the antenna counterclockwise until it is out. 5. Installing the belt clip To install the belt clip, align the two attached screws with the screw holes at the back of the radio, and screw them clockwise. 6. Removing the belt clip To remove the belt clip, unscrew counterclockwise the two screws at the back of the radio. 7. Installing/removing external earphone/microphone Take out the cover of the earphone/microphone jack and plug an earphone or a microphone. 8. Installing the strap Pass the radio cord through the hole on the back housing of the radio. 1. Powering on/off Power on: Rotate the Power/Volume key clockwise. The radio will beep, and the LCD and green indicator light will be on. Power off: Rotate the Power/Volume counterclockwise. 2. Adjusting the volume Rotate the Power/Volume key clockwise to increase the volume, or counterclockwise to decrease it. 3. Selecting a group Method 1: In standby state, click the 【Menu key】, select 【Group Selection】, press the 【Up/Down key】 to select a group, and press the 【Menu key】. To exit, hold down the 【Menu key】. Method 2: In standby state, press the 【side key 1】, and select a group. Reason 2: Low battery voltage resulting in no charging display. Solution: Charge for about half an hour, and then reconnect the micro USB plug. Reason 3: Battery failed.
