CDMA module is the important part of the WP960, include MSM5105,FLASH/ASRAM,RF component. MSM5105, WP960’s processor can drive the 128x64 DOTS LCD,detect the keyboard,and process the voice,SMS etc. Interface board includes the audio AMP, which can drive the speaker;the LDO,which provide the power for CDMA MODULE. CDMA MODULE VCTXO MSM5105 SRAM + FLASH Duplex RFT3100 LNA RF SAW Mixer IF SAWIFR3000 LO-HLO-L IF filter Components SAW PA 64 Pin Connector To Interface Board Miscellaneous For the RX pathThe PCS signal received from antenna and through the duplexer ,the duplexer provides excellent repression off-bandThe external LNA(used agilent semiconductor ATF series) provides high linearity and gain with low noise figureThe Triquint’s mixer IC downconverts RF signal of intermediate frequency (IF),and the IFR3000 converts modulated IF signal from IF saw filter into digital baseband dataFinallythe MSM5105 demodulates RX digital baseband data from IFR3000 For the TX pathThe MSM15105 modulateinterpolateand converts the digital signal into a analog baseband before sending it to RFT3100The RFT3100 upconverts the analog baseband into RF signalFinallythe RF signal amplifies by a high linearizing power amplifierand the amplified RF signal reached the antenna through the duplexer The MSM5105 communicates with the external RF and analog baseband to control RF signal gain including the RX and TX pathsreduce baseband offset errorsand tune the external VCO and the system frequency referenceFinallythe MSM5105 communicates with the interface board by a 64-pins connector to control the audio analog signalsome other digital signal and the power supply
