1 Mike Kuo From: Claire Hoque Sent: April302004Friday 4:20 PM To: Mike Kuo Cc: Sunny Shih; Michael Heckrotte; Julia Luke; Kathy Yao Subject: RE: Hitachi Keiyo Engineering and Systems, Ltd, FCC ID:Q9Z-PC5NR3-J1, AN04T3851 Hi Mike, Here are the answer. Question #1: There are two antenna specification file provided but based upon the internal photos, only two identical antennas are used. Please explain. <Hitachi>One is the behavior of the primary antenna and the other one is the behavior of the secondary antenna. Question #2: Please provide additional internal photo of the solder side of main board for tablet. <Claire>pls see revised internal photos. Internal Photos(revised).pdf Question #3: In page 2 of SAR test report, 802.11 bg is mentioned but this device is 802.11b radio. Please make necessary correction. <Sunny>The 802.11bg was a typographical error. It is corrected in the attached updated report. 04U2611 SAR Report(Updated 4-3... Question #4: During body worn SAR tests, based upon setup photos, there are data cable connected to the device. Is the device tested with battery power or from AC/DC adaptor ? What is the purpose of data cable used during SAR tests ? <Sunny>There are two cables, first one is USB floppy to run the test program, and the other one is USB Mouse. The EUT power came from battery, not AC/DC adaptor. Thanks, Claire
