During the Limited Warranty Period, Physical Enterprises Inc. (Mio Global) will, at its sole discretion, remedy such defects free of charge either by a) repairing, or b) replacing, or c) refunding the original purchase price (excluding taxes, shipping, handling, duties, and similar amounts), subject to the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty. Processing of all warranty claims will be handled by the distributor of the product for the geographic area where the original purchase was made. MIO ALPHA A. Left Button B. Right Button C. Heart Rate (HR) Indicator Light ENGLISH BA C 7 GETTING STARTED Press and hold any button to activate your Mio ALPHA. Mio ALPHA will prompt you to set the date and time, then to enter your weight, height, gender, and year of birth. Press B to increase or change the displayed value. Press A to confirm and proceed. YOUR FIRST WORKOUT 1. Fasten Mio ALPHA snugly on your forearm. 2. Press and hold B to enter Workout Mode. Hold your arm still while Mio ALPHA searches for your heart rate. If you see displayed, Mio ALPHA was unable to find your heart rate. Please refer to the Complete User Guide for troubleshooting suggestions (mioglobal.com/support). To log your workout data and start the timer, press B . To take a lap time, press B . To pause or stop the timer, press and hold B . Press B again to resume the timer, or, press and hold B to exit Workout Mode. Press A at any time to review the data of your current or most recent workout. ENGLISH 8 BACKLIGHT Double tap the display at any time to activate the backlight. CHARGING 1. Make sure your Mio ALPHA and USB charger are completely dry. 2. Plug the USB charger into the USB port of your computer. 3. Align the charging pins on the back of Mio ALPHA to the charging pins on the USB charger. For further information, refer to the illustrated sheet that comes in the box. HEART RATE ZONES During Workout Mode, the HR Indicator light provides feedback on your heart rate. Choose between Training Zone Mode (5-Zone) or Zone Alert Mode (1-Zone). The default mode is Training Zone Mode. Switch between modes by holding A in Workout Mode, or by using the Mio GO app. ENGLISH 9 DATA STORAGE AND TRANSFER Mio ALPHA can store up to 24 hours of workout data. Use the Mio GO app to automatically upload your data to a compatible smartphone or tablet through Bluetooth Smart (4.0) wireless technology. For a list of compatible devices and apps, please visit mioglobal.com/apps. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION Consult your doctor before beginning a new exercise program.
