4. Charging Your Bluetooth Headset IMPORTANT: (1) Charging indication will b e delayed f or a few minutes if the headset has not been used for a long p er io d time or the batt ery is drained. (2) To prolong durability of batt ery, it is recommended t o charge the headset whenever a low batt ery signal is encounter ed. When batt ery becomes low, the LED will flash red every 3 seconds. Under a low batt ery condition, if headset is continuously used, it will decrease the durability of batt ery as well as the standby time. This causes a longer charge time than the normal 2 hours and the headset will p ower off. (3) The red LED will flash on while charging, and blue LED will flash on when charging is completed. The Bluetooth Headset comes with a built-in r echa rgeable batt ery. Prior to using the headset, it is recommended t o charge the batt ery fully f or the first time. Normal full charge time is 2 hrs. (approx.) 5. Turning ON/OFF the Headset POWER ON: When the headset is in off mode, press and hold the “MFB” f or 3 seconds until you hear a short beep. Theblue LED willflash 5 times, and then the headset will automatically r e-connect t o the last c onnected mobile phone. POWER OFF: When headset is in standby mode, press and hold the “MFB” button for 3 seconds until y ou hear a short beep. The r ed LED will flash 5times bef ore turning off. 6. Pairing Prior to using the headset for the first time, y ou must pair it with a Bluetooth- enabled mobile phone. The steps below describ e pairing instructions f or a typical Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone. (1) Place the headset and mobile phone no more than 1 meter apart. (2) Ensure the headset is in OFF mode. (3) Press and hold the “MFB” button for 6 seconds until the red and blue LED flashes. It is now r eady f or pairing. (4) Activate the Bluetooth function on your mobile phone. (R ef er to your mobile phone owner’s manual). (5) Select : ”BT Headset” fr om the list. (6) Enter the pre-programmed c ode “0000” and press “OK” t o pair the headset and the phone. NOTE: If the pairing is not completed within 2 minutes after pairing mode is activated, the headset will p ower off automatically. You will have t o repair the headset using the steps above. 9. Using the Headset (1) ANSWERING CALL When receiving a phone call, press the “MFB” button to answer the call. (2) ENDING CALL Press the “MFB” button to end a call. (3) REJECT CALL When you hear the ringing t one, press and hold the “MFB” button for 3 seconds to reject the call. (4) VOICE DIAL If your mobile phone is voice dialing enabled, in standby mode, press the “MFB” button and say the voice tag after you hear a beep. NOTE: Please make sure to record voice tag into the mobile phone bef ore using voice dial function. Functionality v ar ies depending on the mobile phone models. Before you place or answer a call, if the headset ic on is not sh own on ph one screen, please fol low the steps below to activate the Bluetooth connection/ link thr ough your mobile phone or headset until the headset icon is on the screen. (1) On phone: Select the “B T Headset” fr om the paired list on your phone screen. (2) On headset: Short pr ess “MFB” and select “Ac cept” on phone screen to ac cept connection. 8. Disconnection between Headset and Mobile Phone When you need to connect your headset with an other Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone, please fol low the steps below to disconnect the headset wi th the pre-paired mobile phone. (1) Power off the Headset. (2) Select “Disconnecting” on the Bluetooth device list of your mobile phone to remove the connection. Note: When losing the connection/ link, the he adset will be aut omatic ally po wer off in 10 minutes . The blue LED will flash twic e in every 3 se conds when the headset is not connected with mobile phone.
