According to the KDB248227, the last paragraph in page 6, “For each frequency band, testing at higher data rates and higher order modulations is not required when the maximum average output power for each of these configurations is less than 1/4 dB higher than those measured at the lowers data rate.” We should test the WLAN for 802.11b-1Mbps. The maximum power of WLAN appears in 802.11b-5.5Mbps, but it is less than 1/4 dB higher than the power of 802.11b-1Mbps. So the WLAN in 802.11b-5.5Mbps is not required.
