You cannot make or receive phone calls or browse the Internet without a properly installed SIM card. 65 Installing SIM card 1. Detach the SIM card from its packaging. 2. Power off your phone and remove back cover by pulling cover up, remove battery. 3. To install SIM card, start by sliding the metal SIM card tray to left unlock position, tray will click and release when unlocked. 4. Place the SIM card into slot with gold contacts facing downward.
