This device complies with Industry Canada license-exempt RSS Standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver . • Connect the equipment to an electrical source on a circuit dif ferent from that to which the receiver is connected. • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. Modifications made to this equipment, which are not authorized by the manufacturer, may void the user’s authority to operate this equipment. WARNING To reduce the risk of injury, do not remove the suction fittings of your spa or hot tub. Never operate a spa or hot tub if the suction fittings are broken or missing. Never replace a suction fitting with one rated less than the flow rate marked on the equipment assembly. WARNING Prolonged immersion in hot water may induce hyperthermia. Hyperthermia occurs when the internal temperature of the body reaches a level several degrees above the normal body temperature of 98.6°F (37°C). The symptoms of hyperthermia include dizziness, fainting, drowsiness, lethargy, and an increase in the internal temperature of the body. The effects of hyperthermia include: 1) unawareness of impending danger; 2) failure to perceive heat; 3) failure to recognize the need to exit spa; 4) physical inability to exit spa; 5) fetal damage in pregnant women; 6) unconsciousness resulting in a danger of drowning. Page 5 ENGLISH Wireless Handheld Remote | Installation and Operation Manual WARNING Risk of electric shock, which could result in severe injury or death - Install the power center at least five (5) feet (1.52m) from the inside wall of the pool and/or hot tub using non-metallic plumbing. FCC ID: RIR400121 1 INTERTEK TESTING SERVICES Analysis Report The equipment under test (EUT) is a J-BOX operating at 915.95MHz – 927.00MHz. The EUT was powered by AC 120V, 60Hz. For more detail information pls. refer to the user manual. Modulation Type: FSK Antenna Type: Integral antenna Antenna Gain: 2dBi The nominal conducted output power specified: 7dBm (Tolerance: +/- 2dB) According to the KDB 447498: Th e maximum conducted output power for the EUT is 7.76dBm in the frequency 915.95MHz which is within the production variation. The minimum conducted output power for the EUT is 7.82dBm in the frequency 927.00MHz which is within the production variation. The maximun conducted output power specified is 9dBm = 7.94mW The source- based time-averaging conducted output power = 7.94 * Duty cycle mW< 9.94 (Duty Cycle < 100%) T he SAR Exclusion Threshold Level: = 3.0 * (min. test separation distance, mm) / sqrt(freq. in GHz) = 3.0 * 5 / sqrt (0.927) mW = 15.6 mW Since the source-based time-averaging conducted output power is well below the SAR low threshold level, so the EUT is considered to comply with SAR requirement without testing.
