Pushing 2 buttons at the hand set sends a signal to the receiver which starts the following ignition sequence. • A motorized valve closes the main gas • A capacitor powers a dc magnet which opens the thermo electric safety valve. • At the same time starts the electronic ignition and the pilot gas will be ignited. The pilot flame heats the thermocouple. • Until the thermo element gives enough voltage to hold the safety magnet open (about 10...20 sec), the electronic of the receiver delivers the voltage. • The motorized valve opens the main gas After this ignition the remote control can be used to adjust the flame height by turning the motor of the main gas valve. The signal to turn the motor will be sent manually pushing the up and down button or automatically for versions with a thermostat inbuilt in the hand set. For manual flame height adjustment it takes about 10sec to change from off to maximum flame height. The thermostat compares the room temperature with the set point and if a difference is available between the set point and the room temperature then sends signals to start or stop the turning of the motor.
