WF-96A can be bridged and provide the high speed wireless connection between two networks. In some cases, it is difficult to connect two wire networks, such as across the river or in the high buildings. WF-96A is an ideal resolution in this scenario. The higher transmitter power make the transmission distance reach 2km. 1.1 Connect PoE Adapter to WF-96A Notes: Now WF-96A can be powered by standard 802.3at PoE PSE.Please connect the Ethernet Port labeled “PWR LAN-OUT” on PoE Adapter to “ETH” port of AP and the Ethernet Port labeled “LAN-IN” on PoE adapter to your PC or Switch. 2 1.2 Configure PC’s IP Address Notes: Connect your PC to the “LAN-IN” port on PoE Adapter of AP, manually configure your wired NIC with a static IP address on the 192.168.188.x subnet (e.g. 192.168.188.202). 1.3 Visit WF-96A Web Page Notes: Input the default IP address “192.168.188.251”in the address bar of browser. Then enter the 3 default username and password (username: admin, password: password) to enter the Web interface of AP. 1.4 Configure Management Interface for WF-96A Notes: You can configure management IP/subnetmask/gateway/DNS here. By default, packets are sent without tag. Packets can b…

Non-SDR (Software Defined Radio) Cover Letter Date: July 22, 2015 Refer to KDB 442812 D01 SDR apps Guide v02r03. The following six questions can be used for determining if a radio can elect to be, or must be an SDR. 1. Can the RF parameters of the device be altered through software? Yes - go to 2. No, not an SDR Yes 2. Can third parties not permitted by the Commission through specific filings modify, configure, or load different software, or make configuration settings to operate the device or host hardware radio frequency parameters (frequency range, modulation type, maximum output power or other radio parameters) in any other way than granted (or expected to be granted)? Yes, must be an SDR. No - go to 3. No 3. Is the device capable of operating in any other in any other way than granted, or will be, granted? Yes, - go to 4. No - go to 5. No 4. Is this a Part 15 client Device as defined in Section 15.202 (as opposed to a master device)? Yes, qualifies as a part 15 client devices - go to 5. No, must be an SDR. 5. Does the manufacturer elect SDR? Yes, elects to be an SDR. No, Not an SDR No Final conclusion: According to the above questions reply, we can confirm this WF-96A 802.11ac 2x2 5G CPE FCC ID: SFK-WF96A must be a Non-SDR. The equipment can only support one exclusive regulation. The hardware devices will be locked to the activated regulatory domain and can’t be modified by any third party through configuration changes or software upgrades. Test Setting Average power measurements were perform only when the EUT was transmitting at its maximum power control level using a broadband power meter with a pulse sensor. The power meter implemented triggering and gating capabilities which were set up such that power measurements were recorded only during the ON time of the transmitter. The trace was averaged over 100 traces to obtain the final measured average power. 7.4.4. Test Setup Report No.: 1506RSU01501 FCC ID: SFK-WF96A Page Number: 43 of 384 7.4.5.
