Answer: The maximum power is set to highest measured SAR power with +0dB, -0.2dB. Question #2: Test report: page 17; setup diagram on page 15 show a 20 db attenuator, a power splitter and RF cable was use during the conducted power measurement, but only 4 dB indicated in the correction factor. Please confirm if 20 dB attenuator losses has been considered in the merriment result. Answer: 20 dB offset had been setup in the spectrum to compensate for the 20 dB attenuator loss. Thanks for your assistance! Best Regards Wendy Liao Wendy Liao (ε»ζη΄)/ ADT Corp. V11E Tune Up Procedure 1. Hardware connection a. Connecting RF tester 8960 and power supplier 3631 to GPIB interface card. b. Applying RS232 cable to connect the PCB board to PCβs COM1. c. Get RF cable to RF tester 8960 and then import the cable loss. 2. Double click figure of UNITS3 and then start calibration program. 3. Install main board into PCB board and click the start button on the calibration program to perform the task. 4. The calibration program will start with frequency band of GSM, then DCS and finally to PCS frequency band. After gaining the required power level, operators are able to adjust the DAC level and then install it to the handset.
