Integration Manual BARTEC Blatt 1/9 MC9000ex – Series Mobile Computer MC92NOex RFID Integration Manual BARTEC Blatt 2/9 1. Assembly Housing 1.1 BRICK 1) Drill 7 holes (1,0mm ) and 4 holes (5,5mm) with the fixture in the lower housing. Press 4 inserts into the big holes. 2) Lead the 7 wires (each with different colour) through the drillings. (LiY 0.08mm², d iso > 0.2mm) 3) Fill the RFID upper housing with Sikaflex as shown in the picture. 4) Fix the RFID lower housing with 4 screws and 4 washers on the housing. 5) Seal the screw heads and the wire openings with Sikaflex. Integration Manual BARTEC Blatt 4/9 2. Installation RFID Reader (GUN/BRICK) 2.1 LF-Reader 1) Insert the LF reader into the upper housing. Solder appropriate wires on the LF board as shown in the picture and fix them with UV-glue. Apply Sikaflex in the sealing area of the housing. 2) Put the RFID lower housing on the upper housing and press them together. 3) Apply the opening of the lower housing with Sikaflex. 4) Lock the opening with the according cover. Solder appropriate wires on the HF board as shown in the picture and fix them with UV-glue. Apply Sikaflex in the sealing area of the housing. 2) Put the RFID lower housing on the upper housing and press them together. 3) Fill the resin into the RFID housing (without empty space) and apply the opening of the lower housing with Sikaflex 4) Lock the opening with the according cover. Apply Sikaflex in the sealing area of the housing. 2) Put the RFID lower housing on the upper housing and press them together. 3) Fill the resin into the RFID housing (without empty space) and apply the opening of the lower housing with Sikaflex 4) Lock the opening with the according cover. Integration Manual BARTEC Blatt 7/9 2.4 UHF-Reader with external antenna 1) Apply the appropriate plate on the RFID lower housing. 2) Lead cable of the external antenna through the opening of the RFID lower housing. 3) Fix the RFID lower housing and external antenna with 4 washers and 4 screws. 4) Seal the screw heads and antenna cable passage with Sikaflex. 5) Position the UHF Reader on the according pins and fix it with Sikaflex. Apply Sikaflex in the sealing area of the housing. Integration Manual BARTEC Blatt 8/9 6) Connect the antenna connector with the UHF reader as shown in the picture and fix it with UV-glue.Secure the connector with Sikaflex. 7) Put the RFID lower housing on the upper housing and press them together. 8) Fill the resin into the RFID housing (without empty space) and apply the opening of the lower housing with Sikaflex 9) Lock the opening with the according cover.
