Users Manual

1:10 BMW Z4 Coupe M (Model: 8209) Nissan fairlady Super GT (Model: 8210) Mini Cooper S (Model: 8211) User Manual Thank you for purchasing this remote control toy car. In order to gain a thorough understanding of the product and a safe, trouble-free operation, please read the following instructions carefully before use. I. Specifications and Features: This toy car has forward and reverse functions as well as right and left steering and stop functions. II. Installing the batteries and antenna and charging the batteries: 1. Gun style remote control unit: Remove the battery compartment cover, insert one 9V 6F22, battery into the battery compartment. Ensure that the battery is inserted properly by matching the + and - symbols on the inside of the battery compartment. Close the compartment cover. Turn the power switch to “On”, the remote control unit is now powered on and a red power indicator light comes on. 2. Insert the antenna into the small hole on the top of the remote control unit; screw it in tightly by turning it in a clockwise direction. You can unscrew and remove it by turning it in an anti- clockwise direction. 3. Remote control car: Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the car. Connect the plug of the battery cable to the power port of the car (matching the plug to the port). Insert the battery pack into the battery compartment of the car and close the compartment cover. Turn the power switch to “On” to power the car on. The remote control car should remain motionless. 4. Charging the battery: (parental supervision is recommended) Insert the plug of the battery cable into the port of the battery charger (matching the plug to the port). Then connect the plug of the battery charger to AC power outlet. Charging should start. Charging takes about 4~6 hours to complete (it is not advisable to charge the battery for an excessive length of time). Before using the charged battery after charging, first unplug the battery charger from the power outlet and then press lightly on the rear part of the battery charger to release it from the ports. 5 Do not mix old and new batteries. 6 Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. III. Operation 1. Turn the power switch of the remote control car and the remote control unit to the “On” position and then place the car on the ground. 2. Operate the gun style remote control unit. When the trigger is pulled back half way, the remote control car will move forward at a low speed. When the trigger is pulled back fully, the remote control car will move forward at a high speed. When the trigger is pushed forward, the remote control car will reverse. When the direction steering wheel of the remote control unit is turned clockwise, the remote control car will steer to the right and when it is turned anti-clockwise, the car will steer to the left (the correct method of operation is to hold the remote control unit with the left hand and use the fingers of the left hand to operate the trigger; use the right hand to operate the steering wheel). 3. If the remote control car fails to run in a straight line, adjust the direction adjustment rod on the back of the car by moving it slightly to the right/left until the straightest position is achieved. 4. When the antenna is pulled out to a certain length, the remote control operating distance of the remote control car will be increased accordingly. 5. When the remote control car is not in use, switch the power off on both the remote control unit and the remote control car. IV Points to Note 1. In order to achieve the best performance of the remote control car, charge the battery fully before using it. 2. Do not operate the remote control car in crowded areas or on the street to avoid any possible danger. When using the car outdoors do so on safe ground under adult supervision. 3. If you experience any interference in the radio wave signals in the location where you are using the car, the remote control car may fail to function and lose control. In such a case, choose another location. 4. Do not use the car on waterlogged or sandy ground to avoid any damage to the electronic circuit. 5. When using the remote control car indoors, refrain from operating it immediately if there is a thunderstorm. 6. Do not bend or break the antenna because the sharp edges of a broken antenna may cause harm and a broken antenna will also lose its function. 7. When the wheels of the car are in motion, do not touch them with your hands and avoid getting your hair or clothes tangled in the wheels. 8. Do not steer the remote control car at people; do not throw or crash the car recklessly. 9. When the power of the battery of the remote control car or the remote control unit is running low, the speed of the remote control car will slow down noticeably or it may lose control. In such a case, change the battery. 10. If the remote control car is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the battery to avoid it being damaged or any leakage of fluid from the battery. It is also important not to short circuit the battery to avoid any possible danger. When removing the battery, do not pull it out forcibly. 11. The battery will become hot immediately after use, it should only be recharged after it has cooled down. The 9V battery in the remote control cannot be recharged. 12. Do not throw the remote control car and the batteries into water or fire. Do not disassemble the remote control car or carry out any dismantling of or modification to the circuit board. 13. Store the remote control car in a place that is away from fire, high temperatures or high humidity. 14. Dispose of the packaging material properly to avoid any pollution to the environment. Warning: the toy is composed of small parts which are not suitable for children under the age of three. The recommended age is above 3 years (36 months) of age. Warning: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party resp…
