If holesca nnotbe drilled,use the supplied Velcro.Befo re mounting,cleanthe surfacewith the suppliedalco hol pad.Adhere two piecesof the Velcroto the backof the SmartDirect 2 and then two piecesto the mountingsurface. Pre ss the Sma rtDirect2 firmlyagainstthe mounting surf ace and veri fy it is secure. Mounting the PowerSupply Kit (pa rt nu mber213-50759-01) Onc e the SmartDirect2 is installed, the powersupply sh ouldbe mo unted. 1. Wi th the supplied alcoholpad,cleanthe desi red mou nt ing surfaceand the one side of the po wer supplyto whi ch you will be applying the Velcro. 2. Adh ere the Velcroto th e mountingsurfaceand the po we r su pply. 3. Pressthe Velcroside of the pow er supplyfirmly to the Ve lcro on the mounting surface. 4. Verif y the powersupplyis mountedse curely. PoweringUp and Connecting 1. In ser t the powercordin to the suppliedpower supply.Then plugthe pow er supply into the SmartDirect2. Pl ug the powercordinto the out - let. Turnthe po wer switchto the ON position. NOTE: ONCETHE POWERSUPPLY IS PLUGGED INTO THE SMARTDI RECT2 UNI T, WRAPTHE CORDAROUNDTHE BUI LT IN STR AIN REL IEF. 2. At this timeif you are usingan Ethernet SmartDirect2, plugyourEthernet cableinto the port. If you havea GPRSversiongo to the next step. 3.
