Please note the Fonera is not a stand-alone device, and it must be connected to your existing modem/router to work. Plug in your Fonera. Then, take the orange cable. Connect one end of it to the orange socket on your Fonera, and connect the other end to your modem. 3. Configure your Fonera. Open any browser (e.g. Firefox) Type: http://fonera in the address bar to access your Fonera. Alternatively, you can type your Fonera’s IP address (http://192.168.10.1) Enter the default password: admin. Now you can view and modify the technical aspects of your Fonera. WHAT’S IN THE BOX? - 1 Fonera - 1 Ethernet cable - 1 Power supply - 2 Stickers 2. Connect your Fonera to your computer or laptop. Select the MyPlace WiFi signal from your network preferences. Enter the password printed on your Fonera (same as WPA key) Don’t have WiFi? Then, take an ethernet cable and connect one end to your Fonera and the other to your computer or laptop.
