Technical Description DW18xx/DW20xx DVD ReWriter The main function of this EUT is acting as a DVD & CD player to receive the data from the data source such as DVD & CD. More over, it also works as a DVD & CD writer, to write the data to the data source such as DVD & CD with different speed. The EUT is powered by +12Vdc & +5Vdc from the power supply of PC it installed in. there are two main part which function are listed as below in this EUT 1)Laser Diode (Model: Philips 66.50d) Generate the laser to rewrite or read the data 2)Main PCB(PCB Model:DW1801-ZC07-01)。 U0201 (Model: TZA1050HL/M1D) – RF AMP – To amplify the reflected signal from the laser diode. U0402 (Model: PNX7862EL) - Servo DSP– To control servo system, data decode and encode, D/A converter, communicated with PC via the ATAPI access. U0301 (Model: BD7956FS) – Motor Driver – To control the operation of three motors and laser diode. U0601 (Model: CE2752C) –Audio DAC – To convert the signal from digital to analog optionally. U0401 (Model: MX29LV160) - Flash ROM – To store the program U0403 (Model: 12L16161A) – SDRAM – To store the data U0501, U0502, U0503 (Model: 1117) – Voltage Converter – To convert the voltage from the PC power source to 3.3V, 1.8V, 2.5V respectively.
