Icon will be turn flashing with charging sign while the battery is charging. When charging is completed, the battery icon will turn into a steady green. * It is strongly recommended you fully charge the device for about 4-6 hours before use. Power on/off and Unlock Personal Touch Tablet The Personal Touch Tablet is easy to set up. Just follow these steps: 1. To power on the device, press and hold Power button for 3 seconds to turn on tablet. 2. Wait until a screen with a lock and speaker icon show up, gently tap the “Lock” icon and slide it toward the speaker icon to unlock tablet. 3. To power off the device, press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds until a MID options message show up on screen where you can choose Power off option to power off the device. Note: The screen with the lock icon will time out in 10 seconds if you do not unlock it. In case it happens, the Power button can be pressed briefly to make it show up again. Operation Description EUT (FCC ID: V37-PTT-1026) is a mobile internet device (touch screen), using a 12 V/2 A power adapter (at DC input jack). EUT is equipped with power/charger input port, USB2.0 OTG, HDMI 1.3, micro SD/TF Card slot, Camera, Volume buttons, headphone jack, microphone, gravity sensor, Power button and Reset button. For wireless connection, it supports IEEE 802.11bgn20/40 WiFi (limited for USA to 11 channels for 11bgn20: 2412-2462MHz and 7 channels for 11n40: 2422- 2452MHz) and Bluetooth (70 channels from 2402-2480MHz) wireless connections (ad hoc mode is not supported by the device). WiFi modulation used is DSSS (CCK, BPSK, QPSK) and OFDM and Bluetooth modulation used is FHSS (GFSK). Based on USI WM-BN-BM-01 SIP module with Broadcom BCM4329 chipset. WiFi has rated power of 13dBm and Bluetooth has rated power of 4dBm, both using the same 0dBi internal PCB antenna. WiFi and Bluetooth can/do not transmit simultaneously. Circuit description: 12V input power is used for charging the battery and converted to 5V, 3.3V, 1.8V and 1.25V for supply power to all chipset and circuits. MCU controls NAND flash and DDR, SATA, micro SD/TF Card/Slot, LCD Display, HDMI circuitry, SDIO for WiFi/BT module, etc, and function control buttons.
