Operational Description - RFID Reader ARE i9-HFV7IAREI9HF 29.04.2021, FW, Rev 4 For reading a passive transponder, the RFID reader is generating an electromagnetic field. This happens, depending on the operation mode, permanently or when the reader is receiving a command. The electromagnetic field is powering the transponder which is modulating its UID on the exitation field.
