Operational Description - RFID Reader ARE i9-LFV7IAREI9LF 13.07.2016, MK, Rev 3 For reading a passive transponder, the RFID reader is generating an electromagnetic field. This happens, depending on the operation mode, permanently or when the reader is receiving a command. The electromagnetic field is powering the transponder which is modulating its UID on the exitation field.
