Valeo Schalter und Sensoren GmbH FCC ID: VE2-12PM1 IC: 7173A-12PM1 【Operational description/User Manual】 The Parkman ® assistant allows you to leave your car at the entrance of an outside or underground car parking and let your car find a space and park by itself, by activating the Parkman ® application from your Smart Phone. Once the Parkman ® assistant is enabled your vehicle becomes autonomous and start to search for a parking space. Once a parking slot is detected, the system takes in charge the maneuvers in order to fit in, without any further intervention from you. Once the operation is complete, you receive a notification on your Smart Phone. The Parkman ® assistant works in both ways. When you want to get back your car out of the parking, you only need to notify your request through your Smart Phone and your car rolls back automatically to you. [Instruction]: 1. Stop the car at the location you need to head to 2. Exit your car and close all doors 3. Select the Parkman ® application in your smart Phone 4. At this stage your vehicle takes over and looks for a parking slot 5. Detection of a free slot [DRAFT] / Subject to change Valeo Schalter und Sensoren GmbH FCC ID: VE2-12PM1 IC: 7173A-12PM1 6. Your vehicle manoeuvers by itself 7. End Regulatory notices US, Canada: This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules and with Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS standard(s). FCC ID: VE2-12PM1 IC: 7173A-12PM1 Model: 12PM1H / 12PM1E SAR test exclusion according to KDB447498 (General RF Exposure Guidance v05) Equation from Chapter 4.3.1: Standalone SAR test exclusion considerations page 11 and ff. (1) Standalone SAR test exclusion for 100 MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances ≤ 50mm [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] ∙ [√f (GHz) ] ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR f (GHz) is the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz Power and distance are rounded to the nearest mW and mm before calculation The result is rounded to one decimal place for comparison For a distance ≤ 5mm, a power of 0.57 mW (including tune-up tolerance), and a frequency of 2.48 GHz the calculated value is 0.2, which is less than the limit of 3.0 for 1-g SAR. ______________________ David Lang CETECOM ICT Services GmbH Untertürkheimer Str.6-10 - 66117 Saarbrücken - Germany
