The M510 is capable of reading water consumption data from residential and commercial water meters equipped with an Encoded or Solid State Register. It has a 2-way radio that is compatible with electric meters, routers, and mesh extenders for relaying water consumption data to the utility. It also has a low power mode for short distance communications to the Tech Studio field tools. Figure 1. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.
