ZBA, Inc. Modular Approval Letter Date: 2012-04-28 To Whom It May Concert: We, ZBA, Inc., hereby request modular approval for our Model Name: BT44-111S (FCC ID: VMTBT44-111S). This module complies with the modular approval basic requirements in FCC Part 15 Subpart C Section 15.212 and clearly explained below: 1) The module has its own RF shielding: the shielding of the radio portion can be demonstrated in internal photo. 2) The modular transmitter has buffered modulation/data inputs. 3) The modular transmitter has its own power supply regulation. 4) The module comply with the antenna requirements of Section 15.203 and 15.204(c), the external antenna must be soldered on the module. 5) The module was tested in a stand-alone configuration on a test fixture. The test fixture has two parts: host board and bridge board. The bridge board was connected to a PC by a parallel port and an USB port. 6) The modular transmitter was labeled with its own FCC ID number, please refer to the label drawing. 7) The module complies with any specific rules or operating requirements that ordinarily apply to a complete transmitter and the manufacturer must provide adequate instructions along with the module to explain any such requirements. The necessary explanation to be complied with this requirement is contained in the use manual, and please refers to the User manual. 8) The module complies with any applicable RF exposure requirements in its final configuration.
