Operational description and technical overview for PA02-5002 The device adopts the Sirf`s chipset AT8401 as a core chipset solution with mainstream multimedia with high quality audio/video of mobile multimedia. The AT8401 runs on 32bit ARM1136 RISC processor at up to 500Mhz. The GSM part include 2 main components MTK’s MT6223D, SKYWORKS’ SKY77547 and ADI’s AD6548 and all of them built in as a module. The MT6223D is baseband chip. The AD6548 is a transceiver IC suitable for USGSM 850, EGSM900, DCS1900, and PCS1900 and GPRS class 10 applications. SKY77547 is a power amplifier IC. The device adopts Samsung’s SWB-A21 as combined Bluetooth and WiFi module. The device adopts KTMicro’s KT0801 as FM transmitter IC The Memory used is a Samsung`s memory consists of 64Mb NOR-Flash and 32Mb pSRAM. Power management part adapts Richtech’s RT9941 which includes 5 LDOs and 2 DC-DCs. TI’s BQ2407 take in charger of Li-Ion Battery charge management and power path management. The LCD consists of a TFT module module with 800*480 pixels resolution and 16 bit colors, a backlight unit. In the audio process and amplify part, all analog audio signals from BB is processed. This part contains a audio power amplifier and external speaker. There is an USB connector on the machine. This connector can be used as a outward adapter input port to charge the battery and data communication with PC. The machine is configured a T-Flash connector which can support up to 16GB T-Flash card.
