International Regulatory Information This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful Copyright © 2004-2010 by InfiNet Wireless 3 interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Hereby, InfiNet Wireless declares that this equipment is in compliance with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 1999/5/EC. Important statements Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user ̳s authority to operate the equipment. This equipment complies with the FCC RF radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated outdoor with a minimum distance of 2 meters between the radiator and the human body. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device. R5000-Lm is designed to operate in point-to-point only. R5000-Ome is designed to operation in both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint depending on the antenna attached. R5000-Ome and R5000-Lm models have been designed to operate with the antennas listed below, and having a maximum gain of 23 dBi for R5000-Ome and 21 dBi for R5000-Lm. Antennas not included in this list or having a gain greater than specified above are strictly prohibited for use with this device. The required antenna impedance is 50 Ohms. R5000-Ome antennas: Mars Antennas MA-WA56-DP25N – 23 dBi directional antenna (point-to-point) Mars Antennas MA-WC56-DP17 – 17 dBi 60 deg sector antenna (point-to-multipoint) Mars Antennas MA-WD56-DP16 – 16 dBi 90 deg sector antenna (point-to-multipoint) R5000-Lm antennas: Mars Antennas MA-WA56-DP20 - 21 dBi directional antenna (point-to-point) Fixed, point-to-point operation excludes the use of point-to-multipoint systems, omnidirectional applications, and multiple co-located intentional radiators transmitting the sa…

§ 15.247(b) RF Exposure RF Exposure Requirements: §1.1307(b)(1) and §1.1307(b)(2): Systems operating under the provisions of this section shall be operated in a manner that ensures that the public is not exposed to radio frequency energy levels in excess of the Commission’s guidelines. RF Radiation Exposure Limit: §1.1310: As specified in this section, the Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) Limit shall be used to evaluate the environmental impact of human exposure to radiofrequency (RF) radiation as specified in Sec. 1.1307(b), except in the case of portable devices which shall be evaluated according to the provisions of Sec. 2.1093 of this chapter. MPE Limit Calculation: EUT’s operating frequency is 5730 - 5845 MHz ;. Highest conducted power = 407 mW. Therefore, Limit for Uncontrolled exposure: 1 mW/cm 2 . Equation from page 18 of OET 65, Edition 97-01 S = P G/ 4R 2 where, S = Power Density mW/m 2 P = Power (mW) R = Distance to the center of radiation of the antenna G = Maximum antenna gain Maximum antenna gain for EUT = 21 dBi = 125.9 P = 407 mW S = 1 mW/cm2 G = 125.9 R = sqrt{407*125.9 / 4(3.1416)(1)} R = 63.8 cm. Therefore, EUT meets the Uncontrolled Exposure limit at 63.8 cm.
