User Menu for K104R 1、How to use K104R is a keyboard which support both USB and RF interface. For USB interface, just connect cable with micro USB connector and USB type A connector between keyboard and PC. PC will install HID driver for keyboard automatically. After installation complete, keyboard is ready to use now. For RF interface, find the dongle inside the gift box and plug into PC. PC will install HID driver for dongle automatically. Batteries for keyboard should be installed before use. After all installation complete, keyboard is ready to use now. 2、Remark If both USB cable and dongle are plug into PC, USB interface is selected by keyboard. RF signal is working at 2.4 GHz ISM band. Keyboard and dongle are set to pair at factory. If RF interface of keyboard is not working, please check to make sure batteries are installed correctly. If problem still, please try to re-pair keyboard and dongle by hot key Fn + Esc while dongle plug into PC. LED for pairing should flash after hot key pressed. Re-pair complete When LED stops flashing. Keep keyboard and dongle as close as possible while pairing. RF EXPOSURE EVALUATION 1. PRODUCT INFORMATION Product Description Keyboard Model Name K104R FCC ID XEN-K104R 2. EVALUATION METHOD According to 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06 The 1-g and 10-g SAR test exclusion thresholds for 100 MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances ≤ 50 mm are determined by: [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] ·[√f(GHz)] ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR. Where f(GHz) is the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz Power and distance are rounded to the nearest mW and mm before calculation 3. CALCULATION P t = -3.023dBm=0.50mW The value of the Maximum output power P t is referred to the test report of the CFR47 §15.247. The result for RF exposure evaluation SAR=(0.50mW /5mm) .[√2.402GHz)]=0.15<3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR. 4. CONCLUSION The SAR evaluation is not required.
