! Important 911 Information If you are using the Ooma Telo device without a landline backup, be advised that E911 service is less reliable than traditional 911 service. Some regions do not support E911 and your emergency call may be routed to an emergency response center which does not keep your contact information on file. In addition, Ooma relies on customers to keep their address up-to- date, and will send your call to an emergency response center with the address you’ve provided to us. It is therefore vital you keep your address current by logging into your online account or calling customer support at 1-888-711-6662. Lastly, you will not be able to make E911 calls with your Ooma system if power or Internet service is unavailable. Please leave this notice next to your phone. ! Description of Product: Ooma Telo The Ooma Telo is a DECT base-station with integrated FXO, FXS telephone ports, two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, USB 2.0 port and Bluetooth. It is designed to be a DECT phone base-station as well as VOIP router allowing access to Ooma telephony services. FXO port allows connecting Telo device to PSTN network. FXS port allows connecting a phone handset. The phone has then access to PSTN as well as Ooma VOIP networks. Additionally, a DECT handset can be bonded with Telo device. The DECT phone has then access to PSTN as well as Ooma VOIP networks. DECT basestation uses DSPG system on the chip with built-in amplifier capable of up to 95mW RF peak power. The SOIC is connected two antennas allowing implementing antenna diversity. The two antennas are part of PCB and have maximum gain of 3.7dB. Ooma Telo offers router functionality on the LAN port. Services such as DHCP, NAT, firewall etc. are supported. Ooma Telo offers Bluetooth support that allows bonding Bluetooth-enabled devices such as cell-phones. Ooma Telo comes with an external power supply that provides 5V, 2A max.
