NCZ-3201 KEY FOB User Guide Product Summary: Nyce Control’s NCZ-3201 is a wireless key fob using the ZigBee radio protocol. It is used in conjunction with a low RF transmit power wireless ZigBee network for access control to other devices operating in a ZigBee Home Automation network. • Button functions: network commands, state change commands for other devices • Accurate battery voltage level measurement and reporting back to co-ordinator • Network operation based on the ZigBee open profile Home Automation • Up to 4 years projected battery life Troubleshooting: To improve communication:  Operate the device closer to the router / director  Move a ZigBee router / range extender closer to the desired operating area  Replace battery Technical Specifications:  Model Number: NCZ-3201  Battery Type: 3.0 V CR2032 Lithium coin cell  RF Frequency: ZigBee channels 11-26, 2.405 - 2.48 GHz  Operating Temperature: -10 o C to 50 o C (14 o F to 122 o F)  Dimensions: 32mm x 56mm x 6mm Battery Replacement:  Remove back cover to expose battery  Replace with 3.0 volt CR2032 Lithium coin cell battery, noting the correct polarity of the battery Button Functionality (Generic Commands): Button Function Lock Button Unlock Button Star Button 1 Tap ACE: Arm all zones (Endpoint 1) ACE: Disarm (Endpoint 1) ACE: Panic (Endpoint 1) 2 Taps ACE: Arm all zones (Endpoint 2) ACE: Disarm (Endpoint 2) ACE: Panic (Endpoint 2) 3 Taps ACE: Arm all zones (Endpoint 3) ACE: Disarm (Endpoint 3) ACE: Panic (Endpoint 3) Press ACE: Arm all zones (Endpoint 4) ACE: Disarm (Endpoint 4) ACE: Panic (Endpoint 4) Release ACE: Arm all zones (Endpoint 5) ACE: Disarm (Endpoint 5) ACE: Panic (Endpoint 5) Button Functionality (Network Commands): Action Mode Action Press button 1 and button 2 together, then button 1 once Un-associated to any network Network Join to Open Std network Press button 1 and button 2 together, then Button 1 four times Un-associated to any network Network Join to C4 Network Press button 1 and button 2 together, then Button 1 six times Associated to the network Leave network Press button 1 and button 2 together, then Button 1, 10 times Associated to the network Restore defaults, leave network Press button 1 and button 2 together, then Button 1, 10 times Un-associated to any network Restore defaults Press button 1 and button 2 together, then Button 1 two times any Indicate network connectivity Press other than 1,2,4,6 10 times or other button combination any Single orange LED flash – unsupported command. The next press of multiple presses must occur within 1 seconds of the end of the last button press. Any button held down for more than 1 second will cause the keyfob to disregard the button press. Press-hold functionality will not be supported – only multi-press. Repeated flashes are each followed by a 250ms pause, unless otherwise indicated. A “slow” flash is 250ms in duration followed by a 1sec pause.
