For contactless transmission at least two devices are needed: a base coupler and a remote coupler. The power transmission is a unidirectional transmission from the base coupler (power transmitter) to the remote coupler (power receiver). In one case UA is transmitted, in the other case US is transmitted. The technical specifications of US and UA are identical. The wireless power transmission and all other circuit parts are identical. According to use of radio spectrum in order to avoid harmful interference, the coupler NEARFI 300 B can be regarded as a variant of NEARFI 200 B, and does not need to be measured separately, again. KG • Flachsmarktstraße 8 • 32825 Blomberg • Germany3/4 Phone: +49-(0) 5235-3-00 • Fax: +49-(0) 5235-3-4 12 00 • www.phoenixcontact.com Variant of NEARFI 200 R: Model NameArt.-No. Device under test NEARFI 200 R1433046 VariantNEARFI 300 R1509989 Difference between Device under Test and Variant The difference of the remote coupler is a balancer circuit in the NEARFI 200 R. With the help of the balancer, it is possible to connect another voltage source to port X2 (US) and thus double the total power output at X1 (US). The maximum power that can be transmitted via the wireless power transfer (WPT) is limited to 50W and this is the same for both couplers NEARFI 200 R and NEARFI 300 R. In the coupler NEARFI 300 R, the balancer circuit is not assembled (same printed circuit board) and the external voltage which is fed to socket X2 (US) is made available directly on separate pins on X1 (US). The transmitted voltage from the wireless power transfer is made available at connector X1 as UA. The two voltages are available on separate pins and are not combined as with the NEARFI 200 R. Due to the reduced circuit in the DC part of the NEARFI 300 R, and the consideration according to use of radio spectrum in order to avoid harmful interference, the coupler NEARFI 300 R can be regarded as a variant of NEARFI 200 B, and does not need to be measured separately, again. Letter of declaration KD8680106 requirement Federal Communications Commission Equipment Authorization Division, Application Processing Branch 7435 Oakland Mills Road Columbia, MD 21048 Date: 1.L-O3-2025 FCC lD: YG3300B Model Number: NEARFI 300 B To Whom lt May Concern, We, Phoenix Contact GmbH & Co. KG, hereby declare that our product (as above) meet item 5.2 of KDB 680106v03r01 as follow: Requirements of KDB 680106 D01 Yes / No Description Power transfer frequency is less than L lVlHz YES 110 kHz - l-48 kHz The output power from each transmitting element (e.g., coil) is less than or equal to 15 watts. NO Energy transfer: 50w A client device providing the maximum permitted load is placed in physical contact wìth the transmitter (i.e., the surfaces of the transmitter and client devìce enclosures need to be in physical contact) NO Max distance between Tx<>Rx 10mm Only S 2.1091- Mobile exposure conditions apply (i.e., this provision does not cover 52.1093-Portable exposure cond itions). Fixt The E-field and H-field strengths, at and beyond 20 cm surrounding the device surface, are demonstrated to be less than 50% of the applicable MPE limit, per KDB 447498, Table L. These measurements shall be taken along the principal axes of the device, with one axis oriented along the direction of the estimated maximum field strength, and for three points per axis or until a 1"/d (inverse distance from the emitter structure) field strength decay is observed. Symmetry considerations may be used for test reduction purposes. The device shall be operated in documented worst-case compliance scenarios (i.e., the ones that lead to the maximum field components), and while all the radiating structures (e.g., coils or antennas) that by design can simultaneously transm¡t are energized at their nominal maximum power. TBD H Filed: I,t3 A/m at l"1cm Distance E Field: 0,76LV/m at 11cm Distance For systems with more than one radiating structure, the conditions specified in (5) must be met when the system is fully loaded (i.e., clients absorbing maximum power available), and with all the radiating structures operating at maximum power at the same time, as per design One Tx Coil 4/¿ cond¡tions. lf the design allows one or more radiating structures to be powered at a higher level while other radiating structures are not powered, then those cases must be tested as well. For instance, a device may use three RF coils powered at 5 W, or one coil powered at L5 W: in this case, both scenarios shall be tested Please do not hesitate to contact us for further explanations or comments Sincerely, Signatu Phoentx Contact GmbH & Go.
