When installing CCTV camera, always follow manufacturer’s advice when using power tools, steps, ladders, etc. and wear suitable protective equipment(e.g. safety goggles) when drilling holes. Before drilling holes through a ceiling check for hidden electricity cables and water pipes. The use of a cable/pipe detector is advisable. When installing the wireless cameras on an external wall, pass the power cable through the wall as close as possible to the camera to prevent/reduce the chances of the cables being tampered with. After drilling any hole though an external wall for cable, ensure the hole is sealed up around the cable using a sealant to prevent drafts. To prevent a fire or electrical shock hazard, do not attempt to open the housing while the unit is exposed to rain, water or wet conditions. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel. DEVICE OPERATING RANGE The wireless camera is capable of transmitting up to 100m in open field conditions. However, when installed around your property, any solid objects (e.g. walls, ceiling, reinforced PVC doors, etc.) 4 TROUBLE SHOOTING Ploblem Solution I can’t see the Camera on my TV Ensure the camera and receiver are plugged in. And the TV/ VCR/ DVR is tuned to the correct input channel. A white image appears at night The camera’s infra-red LEDs shine invisible light that reflects of surfaces such as glass causing white light. Place the camera on the other side of windows or place the lens flush against the surface to try to improve the night vision or place in a well lit area. I keep getting interference in my home or business The wireless camera operates on the 2.4GHz frequency like many devices such as wireless routers, cordless phones, and microwaves. If possible keep the camera away from these devices. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION Features 380 TV Lines for clear image resolution 8m infra-red night vision Record video direct to your VCR or DVR Sturdy weather resistant casing Ideal entry-level solution for home or business With Audio 5 Specifications CAMERA Channels 2400-2480MHz Image Device 1/4” OV7930 CMOS Video System NTSC Resolution 380TVL Min. Operational Description

Circuit Description of transmitter The transmitter is made up of two parts: Audio & Video unit and RF unit. The audio signal from MIC1 is amplified, then modulates the audio carry frequency oscillator (5.5MHz), the modulated carry frequency is a added in the VT of voltage controlled oscillator VCO2 (2.4GHz, N1, Q9 ). The video signal from CMOS camera passes through the sharp network (C42, R45, C43, R48, R46), also is added in the VT of VCO2 another signal is a added in the VC02 is the error. Voltage output of loop filter , of PLL(U4) which is programmed by MCU (U5) the channel data is decided by the encodes switch of MCU’s peripheries. The feed back signal (R35 C31) form Voltage controlled oscillator. VCO2 is compared with reference crystal oscillator the error frequency of oscillator VCO2 can be corrected. The carry frequency to be modulated by audio & video has been power amplified by Q10 filtered through the band pass filter (C22, C24C25 )which the higher harmonica of signal reduced to lower level. The purer signal is emitted by antenna (RFOUT).
