Caution This indicates " Possible injury or material damage may occur". Warning  The appliance is not to be used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.  Children being supervised not to play with the appliance.  Important safety instructions. Follow all instructions, since incorrect installation can lead to severe injury.  Do not allow children to play with fixed controls. Keep remote controls away from children  Frequently examine the installation for imbalance and signs of wear or damage to cables and springs. Do not use if repair or adjustment is necessary.  Full all-pole disconnection from the supply mains must be provided in the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring rules. Caution To reduce the fire risk of electric shock or product damage:  Do not expose the equipment to rain, moist, water dripping or water splashing environment; and do not place objects fully filled with water next to the equipment.  Do not disassemble this equipment.  Do not use any power supply with a voltage not complying with the rated voltage of the equipment.  If there is any abnormal condition or when it needs repair, please contact your distributor or the original dealer. Safety Precautions ! ! ! ! - 4 -  SS40E series Tubular Motor 1. Driving Wheel:  It connects the tubular motor to the aluminum tube so that the motor may drive the aluminum tube to rotate. 2. Code Button:  It is for setting the communication code between the remote control unit and the tubular motor. 3. Crown. 4. Antenna:  It is for receiving instructions from the remote control unit. 5. AC Power Cord Name of Each Part 1 2 34 5 - 5 -  SSRC05E remote control unit (Front) (Real) 6. Up button:  It controls the blinds to move upwards. 7. Stop button:  It controls the blinds to stop, or to switch rotations between forward & backward(P.15), or to stop at preferred positions. 8. Down button:  It controls the blinds to move downward. 9. LED channel indicators:  It indicates the window channel – from the left to the right: 1、2、3、4、5; if all indicators are lit, it is ready to control all windows in a group (group control mode)。  The cycle of indicators is 1→2→3→4→5→all indicators →1.  In the setting mode, only single indicator is lit. 10. Channel selection button:  To select the window channel individually or select the group control mode. 11. Battery cover 6 7 8 9 10 11 - 6 - 1. Select a suitable aluminum tube 2. Insert the tubular motor into tube Installation  Installation of motorized blinds: Cylindrical Aluminum Tube Inside d iameterφ40 5㎜ 13㎜ Slot size Molded Aluminum Tube ATD46 Molded Aluminum Tube ATD50 a "plastic ring for ATD50" is required Molded Aluminum Tube ATD51 a "plastic ring for ATD51" is required Molded Aluminum Tube ATO43 specified tube for venetian blinds - 7 - 3. Position the Crown pin into the slot. 4. Fasten the tube at the motor end with screws (not a necessity, may skip this step). 5. Inset the idler wheel onto tube. Cylindrical Aluminum Tube Molded Aluminum Tube Position for inserting the Positioning Pin of the Crown Positions for mounting the screws - 8 - 6. Fasten the tube at the idler wheel end with screws (not a necessity, may skip this step) 7. Install the brackets: Measure a suitable distance for installing the brackets to the target position (in the curtain box or on the wall). 8. Install the motorized blinds: Install the motorized blinds onto the brackets. 9. Connect to the electric power: Connect power cord to AC power before setting and operation. Notice!The positioning slot should be firmly fixed into the bracket. Positions for mounting the screws - 9 -  Battery installation 1 3 2 1. Open the battery cover 2. Insert the battery (notice the polarity ○ + /○ - ) 3. Close the battery cover 4.
