Operational description 2.1 Tune up procedure Firstly,please equip the module and accessories as the figure 4. M10_User_Guide_V1.00 - 5 - Then ,switching the H switch to ON state, J switch to ON state; Press the F button PWRKEY for about 2 second, then the LED glint,and the module is tuningup successfully;( the location of All Switches and buttons please see the Figure 1) 2.2 Serial interfaces The module provides two unbalanced asynchronous serial ports. One is the serial port ,the other is the debug port. The module is designed as a DCE (Data Communication Equipment), following the traditional DCE-DTE (Data Terminal Equipment) connection. The module and the client (DTE) are connected through the following signal (as following figure shows). Autobauding supports baud rate from 4800bps to 115200bps. The RF interface has an impedance of 50Ω. 2.3.1 Antenna installation M10 provides an RF antenna PAD for customer’s antenna installation. The customer’s antenna should be located in the customer’s main board and connect to module’s antenna pad through microstrip line or other type RF trace which the impendence must be controlled in 50Ω. To help the customer to ground the antenna, M10 comes with 2 grounding pads located close to the antenna pad. If the impedance of antenna is close to 50Ω in all working frequency bands, the antenna could be connected to the RF_ANT port directly via 50Ω transmission line. But if the impedance of antenna is not close to 50Ω, a T-type or π-type matching circuit should be inserted between transmission line and antenna. The matching components should be placed as close as possible to the antenna’s feed point. The following 2 figures show the reference designs of T-type and π-type matching circuits. Bundled with the MMS-module (Multimedia Messaging Service) LTL- MM2, the standard scouting camera (Ltl-6210M) can be upgraded to work as a remote cellular camera. With its highly sensitive Passive Infra-Red (PIR) sensor, the camera detects the sudden change of ambient temperature caused by moving game in a region of interest (ROI), triggers to take pictures/videos, and sends the images via GSM network to the user’s cell phone or email account. Features: • Programmable 2/5/12-Megapixel high-quality resolution. • HD video with sound:H.264/AVC format 1080 and 720P • Infrared night vision LEDs flash range: 850nm—82 feet; 940nm—43 feet. • In “Cam + Video” mode, camera takes both pictures and video at every trigger event • Continuous shooting interval time about 0.5 seconds (stamp off) • Ultra low standby power consumption. Extremely long in-field life (in standby mode, up to 6 months with 12 x AA batteries) • Unique side Prep Sensor design provides wider sensing angle and enhances camera’s response speed • Perform in the most extreme temperatures from -22°F to 158°F • Compact size (5 ½ x 3 ½ x 2 ½ inches). Well designed to deploy covertly • Impressively quick trigger time (1.2 second) • In Time Lapse setting, the camera automatically and constantly takes pictures/videos at specified interval. This is very useful when observing plants flowering, birds building nest, or when monitoring unattended properties such as parking lots • With Timer setting on, the camera can be programmed to only work in specified period every day. This feature can work together with Time Lapse feature • Backpack-looking tree grabber makes mounting and aiming a snap • Serial Number setting enables you to code locations in the photos. This helps multi-camera users identify the location when reviewing the photos • Built-in 2.0” TFT color display located at the bottom cover to review images and videos • Date, time, temperature and moon phase can be stamped in the pictures • Lockable and password protected • MMS image sizes : 640 x 480 • Users can configure the Camera and MMS function either by running the enclosed CD on the computer, or directly on the built-in TFT display. • Can change several language of the menu through setting country in MMS menu or in PC setup. • Separation of the Camera and the MMS module provides users flexibility: starting with the value models a standard scouting camera, and upgrading to the premium model with MMS function. • SD card can be set in “Cycling Save” mode, which automatically deletes the earliest photos or videos and makes room for new ones. • If local area mobile signal is too weak to send MMS, user may let the camera send text message(SMS) instead. Message content includes the time the picture is taken and the Camera serial number. • Our Advance Remote Cellular Technology transmits images to your cell phone and email account constantly at lower battery consumption and shorter transmission time, compared with products of its kind on the market. • Automatically send text alert when battery power level goes low • Check cellular signal information on the built-in TFT display in the field • All sent MMS pictures will be saved in the MMS folder in the SD card • Internal antenna design makes the camera portable while still emitting strong signal. When using the iron security box, user can choose the external antenna design. • Operates globally via GSM/GPRS network. The 3-way Power/Mode Switch is used to select the main operation modes: OFF, ON and TEST. To power up the camera, install four NEW high-performance alkaline or lithium AA batteries in the camera. FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE, WE RECOMMEND USING ENERGIZER LITHIUM AA BATTERIES. To achieve longer in-field life, always install 12 AA alkaline batteries. The EUT is commanded by the SS to operate at the maximum output power i.e. GSM550MHz band Power Control Level (PCL) = 5 and Power Class = 4 and GSM1700MHz band Power Control Level (PCL) = 0 and Power Class = 1. A call is established between the EUT and the SS via a Common Antenna. The Test Antenna is a Bi-Log one (used for 30MHz to 1GHz) or a Horn one (used for above 3GHz), and it’s located at the same height as the EUT.
