1) How does this device operate? This device is a FM stereo transmitting configuration, which radiates FM wave on the air by modulating the any required signal to the carrier signal. The transmission frequency is set from 88.1 to 107.9MHz (step freq.:0.1MHz) This product can be powered by an DC to DC regulator within the cigarette-lighter adapter. 2) Provide information on the device and its antenna. This product is designed to transmits audio signal from iPod, USB flash disk, SD/MMC card etc. external audio player to car stereo. The transmitter utilizes dipole antenna. The antenna was soldered to PCB. 3) How is it installed? The transmitter is powered from 12V in car. It can be connected to the car power socket outlet only. 4) What test procedure was used? Operating condition is according to ANSI C63.4-2003 5) If tested in a car, how was it configured/tested? Not tested in a car, it was tested in a chamber. 6) Was the tuning range properly verified? The test lab should indicate in the report that the tuning controls were manually adjusted to verify maximum tuning range. EUT was adjusted to work at the selected channels: 88.1 MHz, 98.0 MHz, and 107.9 MHz. The EUT will not allow operation below 88.1 MHz and will not allow operation above 107.9 MHz. Press the βA-β,βB+β key to select the transmission frequency . We have indicated the testing in the test report, see clause 7. 7) Was the bandwidth properly tested with maximum audio input? The test was performed with the maximum audio input. And play typical audio signal(music song). We have indicated the operating condition in the test report, see clause 6.3. 8) Provide the test report. Operation Description 1. Power Manage Circuit (H34063) This circuit process is that car battery 12-24V give example to IC 6 foot to input , through IC it will reduce voltage and regulate voltage then output standard voltage (5.2-5.4V) from 2 foot. This Voltage will provide electricity to MST Master and emission parts. 2. MST Master Manage Circuit (AU6850E) This MST Masterβs Main Function: I.Split up SD/USB data singal decode into controllable single; II.Through IR1 receiver head it can decode the remote data and control corresponding circuit works; III.Through the body of the machine shake circuit it will emerge and control TX emission frequency; IV.Through button interface to control s1-s5 button functions; 3.Emission Manage Circuit (BK1085) BK1085 IC mainly makes the audio singal outputted by MST Master to modulate FM between 88.1MHZ~107.9MHZ with FM singals of one frequency of 0.1M in FM way .Then using built-in power to enlarge power through aerial to emit out to receive by audio systems. FM transmitting antenna is an independent copper wire. The ground wire of PCB is directly connected with ground wire of car charger.
