INSTRUCTION MANUAL #90505 R/C Carnivolt Batteries Installation : The operation requires TWO “AA” size batteries for the dinosaur and Two “AA” size batteries for the transmitter. Install batteries to the dinosaur: Carefully remove product from package. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the dinosaur. Unscrew and remove the battery cover as in indicated in Diagram A point #1. Then fill TWO “AA” size batteries in. Diagram A Install batteries to the transmitter: Unscrew the battery compartment door on the back of the transmitter. Slide out the door from the battery compartment. Insert 2 pieces of “AA” size batteries to the battery compartment according to the polarity direction as engraved inside. Close the battery compartment door by the screw. Running the R/C dinosaur: Step 1 : Install the batteries on both the dinosaur and transmitter as mentioned above. Step 2 : Turn on the switch on the dinosaur. The switch is located at the bottom of the dinosaur as illustrated in OFF/ ON Switch 1. Unscrew and remove the battery cover. Diagram A. Step 3 : Control the dinosaur from the transmitter by the bottoms as indicated in Diagram B below. Diagram B CAUTION: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Do not dispose of batteries in fire as batteries may explode or leak. Battery requirement: 4 X AA Size Alkaline batteries (not included). Warning: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. The EUT is powered by 2 x 1.5V "AA" batteries. The EUT has two control keys to control forward and backward movement of the receiver. After switching ON the EUT and the receiver of the RC dinosaur, activating the control keys on the EUT can control the receiver moving forward and backward. Antenna Type: External integral antenna Antenna Gain: 0dBi Nominal rated field strength: 64.6dBμV/m at 3m Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance: +/- 3dB According to the KDB 447498: Based on the Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance was 67.6dBμV/m at 3m in frequency 27.145MHz, thus; The EIRP = [(FS*D) ^2*1000 / 30] = 0.00173mW Conducted power = Radiated Power (EIRP) – Antenna Gain So; Conducted Power = 0.00173mW. The SAR Exclusion Threshold Level for 27.145MHz when the minimum test separation distance is < 50mm: = [474 * (1 + log100/f(MHz))]/2 = 371.2mW Since the above conducted output power is well below the SAR Exclusion threshold level, so the EUT is considered to comply with SAR requirement without testing.
